I like to make large batches of soup that max out the capacity of my Instant Pot so we get a few meals out of it. I usually end up reheating it in the IP anyway so it was silly putting the leftovers in a separate container only to return them to the IP inner pot in a day or two to reheat... Problem solved!

Very heavy gauge silicone, a high quality product that can last forever—- that is if I can use it at all! It does not fit! It is too small! I bought it when I ordered the 3q instant pot as suggested by Amazon! I threw away the packing bag so can’t return!

While this lid looks like it would fit exactly as the original, it is harder to stretch over the pot and often pops off. It seems to be stiffer than the lid that came with the InstantPot. I’ve had the same experience with the after-market pressure seals that don’t work as well as the originals. At least they’re cheap.

with leftovers that will get reheated into the instapot again, this was perfect. It fits fantastic. Now with a perfect fit means a snug little bit of work to make sure every little bit is sealed, no problem. My pot comes out and I am throwing this on before it is even cooled down an into the fridge it goes. The next day, pull the pot take this little bad boy off heat my leftovers, and Yeah food. Washing is easy peasy (zero dishwasher here baby so I can say that) and into the dish rake it goes to dry, or it will get dried off and put next to its partner in crime so I always know where to find it.
