Love this book, got it in a timely manner. This has been my favorite book on Greek mythology stories and fell in love with it when I was in high-school. I highly recommend this book!

I really like this book. It was easy to understand. The stories transitioned seamlessly and it was interesting. The only drawback is the size of the book. It is the size of a pocket manual which means that the words are much smaller and it doesn't leave you much free space to write in the margins. This picture should give you an idea of the size. For the price, a larger book would have been more appropriate. The size isn't necessarily a problem but the picture is misleading.

I bought this book based upon the description and the author's purpose. The author intended to write as close to the original Greek language as possible, and it shows. It is by turns clear, funny and engaging. I have used this very successfully with gifted and talented students, and highly recommend it.

I bought this as a replacement for the library because my teenager lost it. This $6 purchase saved me $40 in library fees. It should be noted that the teenager ended up copying the notes from a classmate who actually read the book and turning them in for her grade; along with half of her class.
