Purchased this universal filter to see if my "backflow" problem would go away (water/coffee backflow at the top of the filter while brewing with a new Keurig Classic -- experienced this with other universal filters including an older Keurig filter). Alas, the problem still occurs. Hypothesis is that the coffeemaker water flow rate is a bit too fast, thus causing the backflow. Unfortunately, this problem seems to affect flavor as well.

More complicated than it needs to be. It works, although you don't want to use pre-ground coffee because you need a coarse grind to prevent getting a cup full of grounds.

This thing works beautifully and I will never go back. I have the older keurig and was worried because some of the reviews here. But i watched the video on the listing and it showed exactly what I needed to do to use it with my model.

So, I have a bit of a mixed review for this. It does fit the Keurig, and it does make better (not watery) coffee than a different reusable cup. However, there are a lot more steps to this thing. You have to take a piece of the Keurig out, and then there are three pieces (or 4) to this thing. And then after, you need to clean all 3 pieces, and put the other piece back in the Keurig is someone after you will want a normal k-cup.That being said, this is way better than the other cup. Water actually has to sit in the coffee first so you get actual coffee in the cup. I love the reusable aspect and reducing how many little plastic cups I go through, so this is an overall winner for me, just not everyone else in our office wants to bother with it.

i use it for tea rather than coffee and it works fine. when i have loose tea or a damaged tea bag this is how i handle it

Poor instruction on how to use it with a K Mini.Had to read on Amazon reviews to learn how.Summary: remove the thing on the filter, remove the thing on the machine. Put filter in machine. It will be loose but it will still work
