We get our beef from the ranch next to ours. You need to make sure the bucher doesnt grind up all that round steak and saves you a bunch it. This tenderizer works about as well as any and better than most at tenderizing this cut.Take the steaks, mallet and cutting board outside and put them on the picnic table. Cover the meat with that Reynolds wrap stuff to reduce the schrapnel and start in on that round steak. Use the pointy side and dont be too shy about it either.Yep, its coated aluminum. Nope, you get to wash it the old fashioned way (not much to clean off anyway if you use that clear wrapping stuff). It's not all that heavy, but that just means you get to give it a few more whacks, which is the fun part anyway. If you need something heavier, you might try buying your meat someplace else.

I love that its double sided and it has a good grip. Its great to handle and has some good weight to it. Love kitchenaid products and this one is no different. Got it quickly and it was a good price.
