These stones work great for sharpening small to medium sized knives. The jig to hold the knives in place and the ability to choose the angle as well is a life saver. Very easy to use. Sharpens knives and keeps them sharp.

My husband and daughter are knife collectors. This sharpening set works great for precision sharpening of their entire collection! We also use the set to sharpen kitchen knives. It’s a great set and super easy to use!

It makes knifes sharp for sure but at a slight cost. The part that grabs the back of the knife leaves scratches. Not horrible ones but if this is something that is gonna bug you then it’s gonna be hard to use. I put electric tape on the vise part and that helped a lot. It does make my knifes wonderfully shape though.

It makes knifes sharp for sure but at a slight cost. The part that grabs the back of the knife leaves scratches. I've owned one of these for over 20 years. I used it enough that I wore a groove in the middle hone stone. That's the reason I ordered a new kit. It was only a little more to replace all of them instead of just one plus a new holder and a bottle of honing oil, etc. If you want extra sharp knives in your choice of edge angles GET THE LANSKY.
