Works fine. Only caveat is no instructions! Most of the things one buys have too many, including obvious health and safety details. However in this case it does not even tell you to wind it beyond the time you want, and then turn it back. However I got this information from other reviewers, so all is well.

Hardly ever managed to finish a period. Stopped at random points (and I wound all the way round first). I got a full refund. Got fed up with it undid the screw and dismantled it. Even though its only a self-contained timer mechanism and a screw and two plastic parts it completely stopped working when reassembled. Presumably now these are made in china the quality gone way down. The spring isn;t strong enough to overcome the inherent friction in the mechanism.

Got this for my 77yr old dad, because he puts things on the cooker then walks away & forgets he had something on, but the alarm barely rang for 2 Sr I did (more of a ping) & he did hear it in his pocket, waste of money, have to buy another one

Looks well made. Classy finish. Works perfectly (as long as you wind clockwise to 55min then back to time required!!! this winds the clockwork mechanism). Muted tick & loud ring 2-3 secs. Diameter is approx 6cm. Will free stand or can be wall mounted with double sided tape (not supplied). So much easier & quicker to use than my fancy electronic timer.

Dont waste you time and money on these. They are flimsy and don't work. The first one arrived didnt work. Amazon sent a replacement....that didnt work either. Bought a different one from Tesco for £2.50 which was robust and worked fine. Be warned !
