OXO's newest Pizza Wheel features a clear plastic wheel that WON-B: 'T damage your non stick pizza pan. The Edge of the wheel is tapered so it slices as well as a metal blade, even through thick crusts and heaps of toppings. And the slick surface of the plastic wheel is less likely to have cheese stick to it. The plastic wheel is safer than a metal one, and a thumb guard and soft grip further protect your hand.

This is another excellent product in the OXO utensils range.They're always chunky and designed for function rather than looks, although they are very distinctive.This pizza cutter has a sharp plastic wheel that cuts through the pizza but doesn't harm non stick surfaces.The handle is chunky and rubberised giving a good grip and allowing the required amount of pressure.Great product! Recommended.

I didn't think this would work but it does. It's very big but I quite like that. And I feel it's safe enough for my young daughter to use. I love that the wheel is transparent. It cuts like dream. I've never owned one before so I have nothing to compare it too, but so far so good.

It is solidly built and very nice looking. Won't cut pizza as well as a steel pizza wheel, but it worked surprisingly well for a plastic wheel; that's the compromise to make for non-stick pans.

Answer we did just that - 'manage' but - to just draw a parallel - the difficulty of cutting up brittle pizzas used to be similar tp that you would experience if you tried to carve a joint of beef with a very blunt knive!!Will have to see how it works after a few years use (but we do not eat many pizzas so don't hold your breath waiting for a postscript to this review).
